Meanwhile… Group 2!
Hi People,
When we first got the task I thought we were one of the lucky ones because of getting a topic like “Education” which we are already a part of. Later when I think over it, I started to believe that this would or could also be a catch; “Are we too close to it to see the whole picture?”
I was scanning through in my head for all those fancy tools dedicated to education that I have seen on blogs or other media, trying to remember the schools that experiments with educational models and/or use the hi-tech and beyond. However, some of the advices from one of our lectures, Mikael Ahlström, enabled my perception to see a very important two words on the brief, “daily routines”. Oh, what Mikael said was something like “technologies boom and be a part of our life not when you can use them, but when your mothers can!!”
So, in my group we have decided to lean down to what we have here in Karlskrona. The Technical University, kindergartens, high schools, KOMVUX etc. During the rest of the week we are going to try to talk a bit about their life in schools, the role of digital media in their life and also ask them to let us experience those!
About the database part, we believe that it’s the joyful part of the brief.. However we are not yet (31AUG 22.48) available to share the list of agencies we are going to contact! Hopefully, tomorrow it will be ready up here.
What we have in the hand right now is a very well planned time-line, beautifully placed date for the Follow-Up and tons of idea in our head about to amaze you!
